Tucker Blair Belts (my new obsession)

So, I am kind of obsessing about these belts.  I just want one of every kind and to pair them with the most ridiculous outfits. http://store.tuckerblair.com/product-belts.html

NicK Kroll as Bobby Bottleservice, amazing!

I could talk about Rajat Parr all day

Secrets of the Sommeliers: How to Think and Drink Like the World's Top Wine ProfessionalsSecrets of the Sommeliers: How to Think and Drink Like the World's Top Wine Professionals by Rajat Parr
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I am officially obsessed with Rajat Parr.  (I even follow him on twitter.) This book has a great balance of details of his career, how to think like a wine expert and then some solid and innovative wine instruction. He is clearly a good teacher even though he doesn't think of his self as an instructor the same way Kevin Zraly does.

I also really enjoy hard cover books that don't have a separate paper jacket. It's the little things in life.

Fahrenheit 451 by ray Bradbury - Brief Review

Fahrenheit 451Fahrenheit 451 by Ray Bradbury

Dude, now I totally know why I never wanted to read this book in school.  1. because it was never assigned 2. because it's heavy handed and kind of boring.

Sometimes I wish I had a 3 walled TV parlor. That would be amazing for sports games - but seriously, they should be making those instead of 3-D TVs.

Boozehound By Jason Wilson - brief review

Boozehound: On the Trail of the Rare, the Obscure, and the Overrated in SpiritsBoozehound: On the Trail of the Rare, the Obscure, and the Overrated in Spirits by Jason Wilson

I liked this book - I found Jason Wilson's writing to be witty and spirited (pun intended) but i still don't feel like I understand any of the beverages that he described.  That criticism noted, I really enjoyed the first chapter about the lameness of vodka and quote from it on a regular basics in my everyday life.
